SWAT - BASIC COURSE

SWAT Course - Basic (5-10 Days)
This course will teach the student what it means and takes to be a tactical operator. This course will begin with the “Warrior Mindset” and how to survive “high stress- high fear situations.” It will then move into equipment and team member selection and the importance of continuing of physical, mental and tactical development. The course will rapidly move onto tactical firearm usage. Then push into individual skills such as; movement, entry techniques, manual breaching, tactical shield work, hallway, stairwell and room clearing. The course will then evolve from the individual skills to the “cell” and then team movement concepts.

SWAT - ADVANCE COURSE

SWAT Course - Advanced (3-5 Days)
This course is designed for the experienced, tactical team member. This course will change the mind set from defensive swat techniques to offensive techniques. Short, class room discussion and briefing on the skills taught and used in this arena along with the warrior mindset are discussed. Then the class moves into practical exercises. The focus of this course will be hostage rescue techniques, barricaded gunman techniques, covert team movement (day and night), multiple entry point selection and techniques, woodland and urban movements and linear/ tubular assaults. Live fire CQB drills and techniques along with cell and team movement shooting exercises.

Tactical Commanders Course (5 Days)
This course is for tactical supervisors, commanders and department decision makers tasked with the oversight of a tactical team. Lectures and discussions on leadership, policies and procedures, selection process, equipment, training standards, incident debriefs and civil liabilities will be conducted. Practical topics such as; team tactics, high risk planning, barricade subject, hostage recue and counter terrorism operations will be covered during lecture and reality based training scenarios.

HIGH RISK ENTRY COURSE

High Risk Entry Course (3 Days)
This workshop is designed to give information to law enforcement and military units who work in an environment where raid execution and planning are essential. This course will begin with the discussion on the “winning mind set” and will continue with pre-raid planning and equipment selection, raid planning and then operational tactics and application and finally de-briefing. A short brief on an advanced tactics such as; multiple entry point strategies will also be given.

This course is designed to provide the new tactical team member with individual skills to integrate into the team environment. Focus of this course is the operator’s ability to operate as an individual first, cell then team platforms. Equipment usage, weapons handling, movement, rappelling, tactical trauma care, manual breaching, close quarter battle and combat are taught during this course.

WOODLAND TACTICS

Woodland Tactics (3-5 Days)
This course of instruction is designed to expose tactical personnel to effective deployment techniques and procedures for conducting tactical movements in a wooded environment. Topics covered: personnel movement (individual and team), formations, search strategy, counter ambush, night movement, NVG, Thermal imagery, weapon and equipment considerations and command and control issues.

BALLISTIC SHIELD COURSE

Ballistic Shield Course (2 Days)
This course will provide a briefing and instruction on understanding the ballistics and usages of ballistic shields. Practical application on the proper techniques and usage of one and two shields during a variety of tactical operations will be conducted. Proper methods on approach, entry and room clearing exercises will be conducted.

BREACHING COURSE

Breaching Course - Mechanical and Shotgun (3-5 Days)
This course is designed to teach manual breaching techniques during practical training exercises. This training incorporates manual tools such as picks, rams and sledges. It will also teach vehicle pull and peel techniques. The course covers window break & rakes, wood, steel frame and security doors, mission planning as well as intelligence gathering and analysis.

Tactical Firearms Combination Course (3-5 Days)
This course is designed to utilize all weapons systems used by the entry operator. Course of instruction will include using tactical handgun, shotgun, SMG and carbine. This course includes, but is not limited to, the following instruction topics; CQB gear configuration combat and tactical reloads, multiple target engagement, shooting on the move, barricades, target discrimination, alternate firing positions, use of vehicles for cover strong hand, off hand, transitions, sighting options and long range handgun and SMG shooting, night firing with sights, lights and lasers.

RIOT CONTROL TACTICS COURSE

Riot Control Tactics (3-5 Days)
This course is designed to give responders an understanding of the “mob mentality” as well as strategies for dealing with violent crowds. Day one is classroom based and explores preventive measures for potentially threatening events as well as the broad spectrum of response options that can be used in such situations. Day two looks at the actual physical response of law enforcement. movement, extraction techniques, directional pressure, and less-than-lethal applications are trained.
