SB 1626 Course
Course Description: This 24-hour course is designed to meet Senate Bill 1626 training requirement. Emphasis will be placed on security awareness as well as understanding the dynamics of student behavior and conflict resolution
Topics Include: Role and Responsibility of Campus Security, Law and Liability, Security Awareness in the Education Environment, Mediation/Conflict Resolution, Disasters and Emergencies Dynamics of Student Behavior.
Who Should Attend? Any employee of a school district who performs any types of school security functions. These functions are defined as: providing security services as a watch person, security guard, or patrol person, on or about premised owned or operated by a school district to protect persons or property, to prevent theft or unlawful taking of district property of any kind, or to report any unlawful activity to the district and local law enforcement agencies.
All school personnel, especially administrators are encouraged to attend.
In addition to providing these training skills to the individual we offer a full Campus assessment of any possible improvements and recommendations in the security of the campus. All written assessments are confidential and only provided to the campus commanders and school board staff. Astoria Logistics is committed to full Campus confidentiality.
